A: It is very important to maintain proper oral hygiene during the braces treatment, as it is difficult cleaning the teeth and the food tends to get accumulated in the braces very often. Special ortho brushes are used to keep the teeth clean and maintain a good oral hygiene. The dentist teaches the correct technique to brush on the braces. Rinse the mouth thoroughly with water or mouthwash properly whenever possible.
